About Us

Internet of Things (IoT) Forum was established in our college during the year 2016 under the mentorship of Prof. Nitin Sakhare , who came up with the idea of making a technical forum with an absolute and dedicated motto , “By the Students , For the Students” . We have been activitely growing since 2016 by exploring various emerging technologies using IoT . We have arranged various workshops including basics of IoT ,competitive coding , website designing and on various technical languages like Python , SQL , Big Data and many more which have helped thousands of students from various colleges . IoT Forum also organizes a national level event ,
”IoT Challenge” conducted by IIT Bombay . It was first introduced in 2018 where we achieved an overwhelming response from students all over Pune and also enabled us to become a zonal centre in 2018. Our first fully Automated IoT Lab was inaugurated on 23 February 2019 in VIIT campus which was a remarkable achievement for us , which came out from the efforts of the committee members and students who supported us .

IoT Forum aims for complete development and improvement of students in technical fields as well as various skills like leadership , teamwork , overcoming stage fear , marketing and management skills which enables overall development of students . We help students to work on real-time projects connecting them with various industry experts . The ideation , organization and management of any event is done solely by students of the Forum . We are always determined to stick to our motto “By the Students , For the Students”.
